Windows updates - what will they unleash next?

Welcome to the second post, it won’t be the most thorough but I am for future posts to be more robust.

I am mostly posting this to test the pipelines that deploy this blog, but also feel that it’s important we talk about windows updates and how much they seem to break things at the moment.

A recent windows update broke a lot of my windows machine, I couldn’t elevate cmd prompts, powershell was completely broken. Add this to the enourmous system hangs and you have the perfect recipe for switching to Ubuntu or another Linux flavour.

Introduction

Welcome to the securityconcern blog, this will be a place where I can write about all things security.. I used to have a blogger account, which I may still reference… But I wanted to self host my own things behind cloudflare, so decided this would be a great test!

Stay tuned
